An exquisite one-hour Winton Wetlands sunrise balloon flight.

Transfers in our vehicles to and from the launch and landing

Schedule and Flight
Meet us at the Mokoan Hub and Café approximately 30 minutes before first light to allow us to fly in the atmosphere's magic hour around sunrise. Our expert crew will provide you with informative details throughout. 
Balloon launches are planned from around the Winton Wetlands and you will fly for an hour wherever the wind takes us.
You are welcome to be involved in the inflation, and later the deflation process if you wish. Once the balloon is ready you'll be invited to climb aboard. You will receive a full passenger safety briefing before take-off and the flight is safe, friendly, and professional. The ground crew follows and meets the balloon at its landing. After deflation and a quick pack-up, your crew will drive you back to the Mokoan Hub and Café. The flight is for an hour and the complete activity lasts around 3 hours.

What will you see?
The view of Winton Wetlands expanding to the hills beyond. To the north is Mount Meg, and to the east is Mount Glenrowan and the Warby Range. We may see the big solar farm at Winton, and across to Mount Buffalo. We may vary our take-off location due to the prevailing wind direction on the morning.

Flight Availability and Minimum Numbers
The inaugural flight is available Saturday the 25th of November 2023. A minimum number of guests is required to confirm the Winton Wetlands Balloon Flight on your chosen date. If fewer than the minimum guests are booked, we will advise you and provide options to get you airborne.
