o A full passenger safety briefing before take-off

o Transfers in our vehicles to and from the launch and landing

Schedule and Flight

Meet at CHI WOW WAH TOWN approximately 30 minutes before first light to allow us to fly in the atmosphere's magic hour around sunrise. Our expert crew will provide you with informative details throughout. 

Launches are planned from CHI WOW WAH TOWN and you will fly for an hour wherever the wind takes us.

You are welcome to be involved in the inflation, and later the deflation process if you wish. Once the balloon is ready you'll be invited to climb aboard. You will receive a full passenger safety briefing before take-off and the flight is safe, friendly, and professional. The ground crew follows and meets the balloon at its landing. After deflation and a quick pack-up, your crew will drive you back to CHI WOW WAH TOWN. The flight is for an hour and the complete activity lasts around 3 hours.

What will you see?

The view of CHI WOW WAH TOWN from aloft gently expands to Winton Wetlands and the hills beyond. To the north is Mount Meg, and to the east is Mount Glenrowan and the Warby Range. We may see the big solar farm at Winton, and across to Mount Buffalo. If prudent and absolutely necessary we may vary our take-off location due to the prevailing wind direction on the morning.

Flight Availability and Minimum Numbers

The flights are available Friday 17th, Saturday 18th, Sunday 19th, November 2023. A minimum number guests is required to confirm the CHI WOW WAH TOWN Balloon Flight on your chosen date. If there are less than the minimum guests booked we will advise you and provide options to get you airborne.
